Port City Java Expands Greenville, SC Market
WILMINGTON, N.C.-- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- February 03, 2005 -- Wilmington, NC based Port City Java announces it has opened a second café in the Greenville, SC market. The café, which has a Drive Thru window, is located at 409 Mills Avenue. Port City Java opened its first Greenville, SC operation in April of 2004 in the Central Business District of Greenville. The two cafés are owned and operated by Port City Java Franchisee CC(3), LLC, which is headed by Champ Covington, Jr. The operations for the organization are led by Victor Austin and Champ Covington, III.
Port City Java COO Don Reynolds indicates " we are very pleased with our expansion in the Greenville, SC market, as this provides expanded growth for The Brand in the Western regions of the two Carolinas ". Port City Java recently opened a second store in Asheville, NC and a third is planned for the western NC city. Port City Java has plans for four more units in Greenville, SC. CC(3) has announced it plans to open a third unit on Augusta Road. In addition, Port City Java announces it has signed a Franchise Agreement with NewAbel, LLC to develop three units in Greenville, SC.
