WILMINGTON, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Port City Java announces it has approved an additional Port City Java Cafe on the campus of North Carolina State University. The new cafe will be located at Nelson Hall, which houses the College of Management and the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at NCSU. This is the fifth unit approved for the campus and the company is very pleased with results from NCSU. The company is concentrating on building its Brand in its existing market at NCSU which will maximize efficiency of operations and marketing. The new Cafe should open in the late summer or early fall of 2007. The company will also open additional locations at the Engineering II Building and the new Carmichael Complex in 2007. The company opened its first cafe at NCSU Centennial Campus in the Textiles Engineering Building in 2006.

1st QTR 2007 CORPORATE SALES

The company announces it has increased its Corporate Cafe revenue for the first quarter 2007, 15.5% over the same period for 2006. The company is pleased with the performance of its corporate units and feels the increase is due to increased market penetration from the opening of its Market Street Cafe, increased Local marketing efforts and a concentration on quality and speed of service. The company expects to see results from these efforts throughout 2007.
