Port City Java Opens a New Café in Florida; Announces New Seasonal Product for Summer

WILMINGTON, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE) -- June 21, 2006 -- Port City Java announces the opening of its newest café located at 1032 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL. This is the second Café the company has opened in the Florida market in the past 30 days. The new Port City Java is located on the end cap, adjacent to the highway. The company is very pleased with the visibility and location of its newest unit. The Café has an added feature, a conference room equipped with an audio/visual system. The company is excited about its entry into the Florida market and announces two additional Florida units will open within the next 60 days. Management is pleased with the initial acceptance of the Brand and product in the Port Charlotte market and believes it can further penetrate the market and gain Brand acceptance.

Seasonal Product

Port City Java announces a new seasonal product for the summer. The Italian Café Float™ is now available in all Port City Java units. The new product rolled out with Point of Sale Marketing Support visuals and Operations Support from the Training/Support Department. The company believes the cohesive program will help stimulate unit sales in the summer months. The company continues to perform R&D for new seasonal products to enhance sales.
