Port City Java Enters Two New Markets; Fairganic™
WILMINGTON, N.C.-- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- August 19, 2005 -- Wilmington, NC based Port City Java announces it has opened cafés in 2 new markets. A Port City Java café opened at 2475 Elk Grove Blvd. in Elk Grove, CA. This is the first of two units opening in the market. The second unit, to be located at Laguna Gateway is expected to open in September, 2005. The company is very excited to enter this West Coast Market and feels that the Sacramento, California area is an excellent region to commence establishment of the Brand on the West Coast.
The company also announces the opening of a new café in Katy, Texas. The café is located at 3719 N. Fry Road. The café offers Drive Thru service, which is a trend the company has been following for the past 3 years. This is the first of two units opening in Katy. The company expects the second café to open within 12 months. The company is presently searching for sites in other areas of Texas, as the state is a large market for The Brand to develop.

The company's Fairganic™ Program, comprising USDA Certified Organic Coffees and Fair Trade Coffees is expected to be particularly well received on the West Coast, as Organic and Fair Trade products have shown a high acceptance in these markets.
