Port City Java Welcomes New Café at NCSU and Announces Corporate Sales Increases
New Café at NCSU:
WILMINGTON, N.C. December 4, 2007--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Port City Java® is pleased to announce it has opened a new café at North Carolina State University. The new café is located at the new Carmichael Gymnasium, located on the main campus of the university. This is the second Port City Java® to open at North Carolina State University and the fifth Port City Java® to open in the Raleigh, Cary, and Durham market. The company is pleased to continue the expansion of the Brand and feels the additional unit will increase the efficiencies of the system in the market.
Corporate Sales Increases:
Port City Java® announces its same unit Corporate Café sales increased 7.19% in November 2007 over the same period one year ago. Overall Corporate sales increased 23.16% in November 2007 over the same period in 2006. Management is pleased with the results, especially the same unit increases, as it feels positive comp. sales indicate a solid execution of the Brand and concept. Management attributes the positive results to Core Basic Operations execution, consistent Local Area Marketing and its expanded menu of Breakfast Sandwiches.
